An email template for management:

I have been reading more and more recently about companies putting mindfulness training programs to help battle workplace burnout. Some of the bigger companies include Google, Salesforce and Unilever. I think it’s time we launch a program!

After researching more about different formats, I have found them to be quite accessible and affordable. 

The most common seems to be {30-minute virtual meditation classes, a 1-hour workshop format, or onsite meditation classes}.

This would align well with our current {mental health, stress reduction, burnout prevention, resiliency, psychological safety} initiatives.

Some stats include:

  • Mindful employees are better equipped to handle day-to-day stress without taking a leave of absence and may take fewer sick days
  • Studies show that meditation training can help curb the tendency for distraction, strengthening the participant’s ability to concentrate and even boosting memory
  • Individuals who complete mindfulness training are more collaborative and improve morale
  • Following an eight-week program, research has shown lasting changes in brain regions associated with memory, sense of self, empathy and stress

We’re very excited to be launching our first mindfulness training program. 

Our goal is to {support positive mental health in the office, give everyone more tools for stress reduction, prevent burnout, build resiliency in this time of change, keep the team healthy and happy}.

Whether you meditate regularly or have never meditated before, this program will cover the science behind mindfulness and include short practices to help refresh your mind and reduce stress.
